The Boxer

When walking the streets of Berlin on this Sunday, I noticed this young man sitting outside some Kebab House. For me he looked like a boxer.... I did not have the heart to approach him and ask:" Excuse me Sir are you a boxer?", so I just took a sketch along and thought while painting that he was.

Als ich am heutigen Sonntag so durch die Straßen Berlins spazierte, fiel mir dieser junge Mann auf, der vor einem Döner Imbiss draußen saß. Er sah für mich wie ein Boxer aus ,... ich traute mich jedoch nicht auf ihn zuzugehen und zu fragen: "Entschuldigen Sie, sind Sie zufällig Boxer?" So habe ich nur eine Skizze gemacht und mir während des Malens gedacht, er wäre einer.

    I always wondered how you make them, take pictures, make sketches or, .... ?

  2. I do make sketches, somtimes I take pictures, I started to make sketches again with Copic-ciao Pens, wonderfull tool to work with on location, especially on the street, when I sketch very fast, and only the very essence matters
